Willard's Winners....

Well, Willard called today to give me his prognostications for this weekend. Willard was all excited. The biggest game of the year for Georgia fans is this weekend. "The World's Largest Coctail Party" will kick off early Friday morning, and last until way after game time. Willard has been going through his GA v. FL pregame rituals to bring the DAWGS some good luck Saturday. Today Willard went and bought the Pickled Pigs Feet, Sweet Tea, and Boiled Peanuts for the fellers to snack on while they watch the game at my Aunt's house. But enough of that. Here's Willard's Winners for Week 8.

Virginia Tech v. Boston College= Willard's Winner: Virginia Tech

Ohio St v. Minnesota= Willard's Winner: Ohio St.

Texas Tech v. Baylor= Willard just wants to say that he has noticed how well the Baylor Bears are doing this year, and wants to tell them congratulations, but they are still going to lose to the Red Raiders. Willard's Winner: Texas Tech

Ole Miss v. Auburn= Willard's Winner Auburn Ole Miss is going to take a stiff lickin' in this one.

Washington St. v. USC= Willard's Winner (Those danged ole' cheaters) USC

Maryland v. Florida State= Willard's Winner Florida State

Texas v. Oklahoma St.= Over the last couple of years, the Okies have given Texas fits even beating them a couple of times. Might it happen this year? Could the Okies hand Texas their first loss, and knock them out of the National Championship game? No Way! Willard's Winner Texas

Michigan v. Northwestern= Willard's Winner, in a good one, Michigan

Wisconsin v. Illinois= Willard's Winner: whoever doesn't have to watch this game!

South Carolina v. Tennessee= Spurrier's Chickens invade Knoxville looking to peck Smokey. But the Great Pumpkin, Phil Fulmer; and his Volunteers will pluck those Pullit's good. Willard's Winner: Tennessee

Clemson v. Georgia Tech= Willard said he hated both these teams and wishes they both could lose, but since they can't he will chose one. Willard's Winner: Clemson

And last, but certainly not least:

Georgia v. Florida= Well folks, not only is this game of the year to Willard, but it will also be the Donny Brook game of the week. Urban Meyer's Orange & Blue crew is licking their toothy chops wanting to make a tasty snack out of the unbeaten DAWGS. The Athens Arsenal are shooting with wet powder with the loss of their head DAWG. But Willard is sure that Coach Richt and that Junk Yard DAWG defense will come ready to grab those overgrown lizards by the tail and not let go. Willard's Winner: (Please o' Please let it be Lord!) GEORGIA

I've fallen off the wagon...

Well, I have fallen off the wagon. My time as a caffeine free individual is over. But I have an excuse... I have papers to write, and tests to take these next couple of weeks, several of them. So I need the extra giddy up and go! That's right, that's the ticket... I need the caffeine! I'm not hurting anybody. It's my life. Just a little bit to get me through. I can stop anytime right!

Willard's Winners...

Hey gang, this is not Willard, (come to think of it, I don't think my family has any pictures of Willard. Maybe that is to protect the family.) but this is one of his inventions. Willard loves to go to Lake Blackshear and fish, but always complains that he can't get to where the fish are, so he built himself a little boat.

Enough about that. Willard did an exceptional job picking the winners this week. Willard picked 11 out of 12 right for a percentage of 92%. Way to go Willard. Check back later this week to see Willard's Winners for this weekend.

This is hilarious...

A smooth shout out to my best girl Bonnie for directing me to this site. I took a little quiz, and figured out that I am Pedro. What do you think? Check it out for yourself, and see who you are from Napoleon Dynamite.

What the heck happened to me?

What the heck happened to me? This was me when I was about 2-3 yrs old. Dang it I was cute! Now, I have to keep my hair cut short to somewhat hide the bald spots, grow a van dyke to cover the second chin, and wear glasses to see past my nose. Not only that, but I have what the Doctors call: "a little weight problem." Heck I must have eaten this kid.

Oh well!

Can you tell this picture was taken in the 70's? How about those plaid pants my Grand-father is wearing, and the jeans my Aunt is wearing on the left. Whew! glad we don't have to wear those today!

Willard's Winners...

Well gang, My cousin Willard called me from the Sack n' Suds today excited about being on the blog, and how well he did picking the winners this week. He keeps telling me: "I'm gonna git me one of them therrr web sites, and make it big with my prognostications." Well Willard, you are well on your way. Of the 12 games Willard predicted he got 10 right. That comes out to be 86%. Not bad Willard.

Willard said that he knew that the ND v. USC game was going to be great, but had no idea it would be the barn burner it was. And wasn't it a great game? To all the ND fans that were at Bonnie's this weekend, sorry for putting up the left finger, when obviously it is the right finger you denote #1 with.

Without further adieu, let the prognostications begin, Here are Willard's Winners:
Ohio St. v. Indiana= Willard's Winner Ohio St.
Louisville v. Cincinnati= Willard's Winner Louisville
BYU v. Notre Dame= After a heart-wrenching loss, the Catholics read extreme unction to the Mormons. Willard's Winner Notre Dame
TCU v. Air Force= Willard's Winner TCU
USC v. Washington= Willard's Winner (those danged ole' cheaters)USC
Texas Tech v. Texas= The high powered offense from the cap rock of west Texas invades Austin, but the Horns Hook'em big time. Willard's Winner Texas
Tennessee v. Alabama= Willard's one to watch this week. In the donnybrook game of the week, Willard's Winner Alabama (though Willard said he really wanted the Vols to win)
Purdue v. Wisconsin= Willard's Winner anyone who does not have to watch this game!
Virginia v. North Carolina= Willard's Winner and newest team to find favor, Virginia
Auburn v. LSU=This game has great significance for telling us which Tiger will be chasing the tail of the Crimson Pachyderm for king of the SEC West. Willard's Winner LSU
Virginia Tech v. Maryland= Another donnybrook of a game, but Friedgen's Terrapin's are a little too slow for the winged attack of the Hokie Birds. Willard's Winner Virginia Tech.
And last, but certainly not least: Arkansas v. Georgia= The razorbacks are marching to Sanford stadium hoping to knock the DAWGS off the undefeated Mountain. However, Coach Richt and his Junk Yard Hounds would like nothing more than a refreshing pulled pork sandwhich half way through the season. The Dawgs defense will sink their canines into the hind quarters of the Fayetville pigs and pull them apart. Willard's Winner Georgia

Come back and see how your favorite teams did.

My Birthday Party...

Hey gang,
Thanks to all of you who attended my Birthday Party. I had a great time hanging out with my friends, watching football, and eating some great food. What more does a person need (apart from Christ)?

A special thanks goes out to Bonnie. Thank you for putting together this shin-dig. I really enjoyed myself, and I thank you for all your hard work. You made it a special day.

My Birthday...

Well, today is my birthday. I am 31 years old. No more of this "I'm 29 years, 365 days old. I guess I should grow up and become a productive member of society now. Maybe I'll wait until I'm 32 for that.

Caffeine is of the devil...

Hello my friends and faithful confidents. As most of you know, I started a new job a couple of weeks ago. This new job took me away from my friends at Classroom support (wicked props to you guys), but it also took me away from Snack Pot. At CS we had a deal where you could buy Cokes really cheaply. I did often purchase and enjoy said drink.

Now, I am away from my daily source of Coke and therefore caffeine. Not only that, but to support Bonnie's renouncing of caffeinated drinks, I do not keep them at her house or mine.

All of this gibberish leads to this. I have had caffeine withdrawals lately. I mean, I am really jonesing for a hit of the good stuff. I wake up with headaches, that last all day. Tonight I had a headache. When I went to get supper, I got a Coke to drink, and the second that sweet elixir full of the "Crack" of my choice; hit my lips... my headache went away.

So if you see me sitting in a corner somewhere, twitching; give me a hit of the hard stuff, Coca-Cola. Hey, can anybody tell me? Is Caffeine free Coke like Methadone for caffeine addicts?

Willard's winners...

Hey Gang, I was talking to my cousin Willard this morning about college football. Willard is a nut for it. Come to think of it Willard is just a nut. But anyway, Willard reads my blog from time to time, and saw my picks for what will happen the rest of this football season. Willard wants to get a blog started himself so that he can tell the world what he thinks about college football. But Willard lives back in the woods, and doesn't have a phone. It is only every now and again that he goes to the thriving metropolis of Ellaville (pop 202) and uses the phone at the gas station to call me and check up on me. He goes to my Aunt's house and checks "that internet" for my blog too. Well, during our last conversation Willard told me that he wanted to put his college football prognostications on the internet for everybody to see. You see, Willard wants to be the next Leonard Postosties, so he asked me to put them on my blog.

So, to keep my cousin Willard happy; Here we go:
Florida St v. Virginia= Willard's Winner Florida St.
Alabama v. Ole Miss= Willard's Winner Alabama
Kansas St v. Texas Tech= Willard's Winner Texas Tech
Michigan St v. Ohio St= Willard's Winner in a donnybrook Michigan st.
Wisconsin v. Minnesota= Willard's Winner anybody who does not have to watch this game
OK St v. TAMU= Willard's Winner OK St
That Name of which we do not speak from Gainesville, Fla. v. LSU= I hate them danged ol' over-grown lizards Willard's Winner and second favorite team of the day... LSU
Colorado v. Texas= Willard's Winner Texas
USC v. Notre Dame= Willard's Winner in a whale of a game USC
Louisville v. West Virginia= Willard's Winner West Virginia
Auburn v. Arkansas= Willard's Winner Auburn
and finally
Georgia v. Vanderbuilt= Though the Nashville Navy is riding high on the seas this year, they just don't have enough fire power to keep those Junk Yard DAWGS at bay. Coach Richt and his red and black attack will bite a big chunk out of Vanderbuilt's frigate, and send is sinking to the bottom. Willard's Winner... Georgia... Go DAWGS.

Well there you have it folks, My cousin Willard's first public prognostications on the web. Check back next week to see how he did, and to see what he thinks of your team.
