Willard's Winners....

Well, Willard called today to give me his prognostications for this weekend. Willard was all excited. The biggest game of the year for Georgia fans is this weekend. "The World's Largest Coctail Party" will kick off early Friday morning, and last until way after game time. Willard has been going through his GA v. FL pregame rituals to bring the DAWGS some good luck Saturday. Today Willard went and bought the Pickled Pigs Feet, Sweet Tea, and Boiled Peanuts for the fellers to snack on while they watch the game at my Aunt's house. But enough of that. Here's Willard's Winners for Week 8.

Virginia Tech v. Boston College= Willard's Winner: Virginia Tech

Ohio St v. Minnesota= Willard's Winner: Ohio St.

Texas Tech v. Baylor= Willard just wants to say that he has noticed how well the Baylor Bears are doing this year, and wants to tell them congratulations, but they are still going to lose to the Red Raiders. Willard's Winner: Texas Tech

Ole Miss v. Auburn= Willard's Winner Auburn Ole Miss is going to take a stiff lickin' in this one.

Washington St. v. USC= Willard's Winner (Those danged ole' cheaters) USC

Maryland v. Florida State= Willard's Winner Florida State

Texas v. Oklahoma St.= Over the last couple of years, the Okies have given Texas fits even beating them a couple of times. Might it happen this year? Could the Okies hand Texas their first loss, and knock them out of the National Championship game? No Way! Willard's Winner Texas

Michigan v. Northwestern= Willard's Winner, in a good one, Michigan

Wisconsin v. Illinois= Willard's Winner: whoever doesn't have to watch this game!

South Carolina v. Tennessee= Spurrier's Chickens invade Knoxville looking to peck Smokey. But the Great Pumpkin, Phil Fulmer; and his Volunteers will pluck those Pullit's good. Willard's Winner: Tennessee

Clemson v. Georgia Tech= Willard said he hated both these teams and wishes they both could lose, but since they can't he will chose one. Willard's Winner: Clemson

And last, but certainly not least:

Georgia v. Florida= Well folks, not only is this game of the year to Willard, but it will also be the Donny Brook game of the week. Urban Meyer's Orange & Blue crew is licking their toothy chops wanting to make a tasty snack out of the unbeaten DAWGS. The Athens Arsenal are shooting with wet powder with the loss of their head DAWG. But Willard is sure that Coach Richt and that Junk Yard DAWG defense will come ready to grab those overgrown lizards by the tail and not let go. Willard's Winner: (Please o' Please let it be Lord!)
